Firstly, I am the shittest record label I’ve ever had. Easily distracted, crap at PR, oblivious of admin, oddball priority lists. I hate me.

Secondly, my dear departed father mentioned toward the end how he’d have loved to join me on a record. George II (I am the III) could yodel, play a mean pair of spoons and did a ‘laughing policeman’ so infectious I’ve yet to hear bettered.

So here he is. That’s him and me on the cover, taken by my sister. And the music? He’s in there somewhere but it’s so crowded. There’s all of you lot. Our moments. Those times. There’s Sarah (flute) and Demus (bass). There’s a tangle of cables. Some edibles. A microphone. Me.

I loved making it. My first ‘Demure’ record in 11 years. I hope you enjoy listening to it too. And don't worry about the label. I'll have a word.
